On this post, I am going to take you on an over view in words and video of the 2012 Consumer Choice Marketing National Convention that was held in Columbus, Ohio; home of our strategic energy partner, IGS Energy. It was held August 16th through August 18, 2012 and it was a very exciting, fun and informative event!
It showcases why Consumer Choice Marketing is the PREMIER company to serve as your vehicle in the energy deregulation business opportunity.
Thursday August 16,2012–Consumer Choice Marketing VIP DINNER
This was a special event for those who had worked their business and won a Regional Director Power Play bonus of $1,000. They had been invited to the VIP Dinner with other leaders in Consumer Choice Marketing. Also in attendance was the management of CCM as well as executives of our partner, IGS Energy. It was a very good time to mix, mingle and get t know one another. You can see that in the video below……

Friday August 17,2012–Consumer Choice Marketing BBQ/IGS TOUR
This was a casual day made just for mixing and mingling with other brokers, Consumer Choice Marketing & IGS Energy management at the IGS Energy headquarters for a good ol’ fashioned BBQ.
I even got the chance to personally meet my friend, business partner and upline Bernard Shelly, some of his team and my team that came to the convention, as well as other leaders in CCM.
Bernard, from NYC and I met online about 3 years ago from another opportunity. To make a long story short, it was a long, rough road to this point, but well worth the journey.
These are the Lanis’, Lawrence and Dr. Liz, part of my downline, second level, form Michigan. They came to the convention and was very glad to meet them in person and they were glad they came!
They won BOTH prize drawings from the convention. An iPad AND a 3-Day Cruise!! Congrats!!!
(Yes…I am coolin’ in my socks and sandals! LOL)
This is Bernard with some of his downline, Joe and Marina, from California. Joe was in another energy opportunity for over 8 months and made $11. He came to CCM and made over $1,200 in his first week! I think he really likes Consumer Choice Marketing!
This is sharp guy, Frank Hanserd Jr. Who drove his team from California to Columbus, Ohio. We were on the IGS Tour together and we took a couple of pics together.
Was good to meet him in person and chew the fat, after crossing paths online.
It was very gracious for IGS Energy to give of their impressive campus and headquarters
for the event. It is a few acres of land complete with an impressive pond with water fountains. The weather was just picture perfect.
We also got a chance to take tours of the impressive headquarters of IGS Energy. The building and campus itself is a LEED Platinum certified building. The highest level that LEED presents. What is LEED?
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is redefining the way we think about the places where we live, work and learn. As an internationally recognized mark of excellence, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
With that said, that pond with the fountain looks great and gives you an invigorating feeling, but that is not all that pond does. It is part of a geothermal heating and cooling system for the building itself! Even the grass is special “low-mow” seed that needs very little mowing which helps reduce the use of gasoline which lower air emissions overall.
From the special glass to carpeting to carpet that is 100% recycled…..to zone controlled indoor environmental control to the use of solar panels on the roof.
