Ampegy

There are some things that you need to know about Ampegy Spark Energy before you join. First, Ampegy Spark Energy is the network marketing arm of Spark Energy based in Texas. Spark Energy has been a leader in the energy industry since 1999 and was founded by Keith Maxwell. Spark Energy currently does business in 16 states.

Ampegy was created in February 2011 and is a direct seller of Spark Energy’s energy and gas services to residential customers across 9 states including California, New York, Illinois and Texas. Ampegy Spark Energy‘s Cheif Marketing Officer is Steve Smith from Excel Communications. Admittedly, Steve Smith is a legend in the network marketing industry which is a good thing for Ampergy Spark Energy.

Ampegy Spark Energy’s Compensation Plan

When you become an affiliate of Ampegy Spark Energy, you pay a fee and maintain a montly fee for the webistes, which is common in network marketing operations. The compensation plan does give you several ways to make income through bonuses and a residual income by building customers. I will say this, after researching other companies, I give Ampegy Spark Energy 2 thumbs up for ACTUALLY giving true residuals on residential energy sales, where most companies that I have seen do not. This is what the energy deregulation business is all about…energy residuals. However, there are a couple of issues that I want to point out.

Update Below

First, Ampegy Spark Energy seems to only concern itself with residential energy sales. Well what about the real juicy sales of commercial energy? Doing commercial business is very lucrative!

Secondly, even though Ampegy Spark Energy does give residual income from the residential sales. Again, where most energy companies do not. However, they do not pay as well in residential energy sales as Consumer Choice Marketing does. In adition, Consumer Choice Marketing is in 27 states currently and opening up Canada very soon. This alone gives you the opportunity to network with contacts that you have in those states and Canada as well.

One more thing, Consumer Choice Marketing does write commercial energy sales in 19 of the 27 states that it is currently in. This allows you to make money in the very lucrative field of commercial energy sales. Consumer Choice Marketing very generously pays based upon USAGE and not a portion of the lower energy bills for commercial. That in itself make a huge difference when you talk about residuals from commercial energy sales. A big difference!

Here is something important that YOU should KNOW about compensation plans in ENERGY DEREGULATION  that you should watch our for !!

Ampegy Spark Energy As A Business Opportunity

All in all, amongst the other companies that I have researched and posted in this blog, Ampegy Spark Energy is not a bad company to be involved with for the energy deregulation business opportunity because they DO pay a residual on residential energy sales. Now the question is would you make money in Ampergy Spark Energy….Yes. HOWEVER, would you make as much as you could with Consumer Choice Marketing….No. Especially when you consider that the residual on residential energy sales is higher than Ampergy’s residual payout and Consumer Choice Marketing DOES do commercial energy sales and pays on usage, very lucrative.

Residual income from energy sales is what the energy deregulation business is ALL about!

Update Ampegy Compensation Plan

Just recently, Ampegy has updated their compensation plan to include a Binary Compensation component to their compensation plan.  For some of you, and it is a personal decision, will run from Ampegy because of the Binary compensation addition because, as most people, they do not like them.  Some people find them very hard to balance, one side to the other.  It is that balance, that you have to maintain, which gets your paid.  So this is just an update and it is your decision, obviously, to take this addition into consideration.
